Now that Spring is here we can pull out our pink toned lip colors without shame. Deep bold lips are a staple for Fall/Winter makeup trends but when it comes to Spring, nude and pink shades cover every model’s face in fashion ads. If you are new to pink or nude lips, here are a few tips to assist you in you journey to a new pout.
When selecting a pink lipstick remember that not everyone can wear a pick lipstick straight from the tube. You will most likely have to apply a lip liner to better enhance your shade. I’m a big fan of pink pouts and often always use a lip liner to get the right shade for myself. I’ve decide to share my favorite pink pout with you through a small pictorial. You can use this pictorial as a guide to get you through the application for any lip look as well.
In this pictorial I featured MAC Cosmetics lip liner in Cork, a staple in my kit for pink and nude lips along with Coastal Scents lip liner in Natural. You can’t go wrong with either. For the actual pinks I used a MAC Cosmetics lipstick named Sweetie, a perfect name for this soft pink shade. And finally finished the pout with a beautiful custom pink lip gloss from GinellArtistry named Pink Colada.
If you rather a nude lip I would simply suggest you get your hands on the Coastal Scents lip quad in Sun Kissed! This little palette has 4 shades of nude tones that covers a wide range of skin tones. This palette has a creamy nude, a peachy-beige, a shimmery copper, and a medium brown. The shades can of course be layered and mixed. Pair this palette with their lip liners in Natural or Toast and you have the perfect nude lip for you.
